Current Events series.  Part 2.  Politics.  Sounds like a dirty word to many of us.  Some of us are angered even thinking about it.  Or ready for debate.  Others of us keep our personal politics very private and avoid conversations.  But as Christians we must engage this topic - the Bible has lots to say!  Our "Current Events" series continues.

War.  Constant in our world.  Devastating loss of life.  Always in the headlines.  Definitely a current event worth exploring.  We begin a new podcast series.  "Current Events."  And with this part 1 we start with war.

Church History 10 (CH10)

From the First Great Awakening to the Second one.  From the 1700s to the 1800s.  Christianity goes truly global.  A complex and diverse picture emerges.  New religious movements arise as well.  The 19th century witnesses massive change.  Church history continues!

Church History 7 (CH7)

The reformation continues.  More new movements and groups.  The reformation spreads to England.  The Roman Church pushes back strongly at the Council of Trent.  Orthodox Christianity waits in the wings.  The volatile era of the 1500s and 1600s continues.

The fuse was lit.  Europe was a powder key ready to explode.  Reformation!  Massive changes were coming to the church - stirrings in the 1300s and 1400s became full blown movements in the 1500s.  In this episode we learn of some of the key leaders and key ideas the spurred the early reformation of the Roman church.
