New Part 5 (N5)

The final podcast episode of the "New" series.  The Old Testament Ecclesiastes boldly stated, "there is nothing new under the sun."  Jesus says "not so!"  In Jesus amazing newness has come and is coming.  New creations.  New heavens.  New earth.  New birth.  New hope.  From design to destiny we've seen how the image of God is powerfully restored and is perfect in Jesus.  Worship - loving God.  Fellowship - loving people.  And this final step in this journey:  stewardship - loving creation.  

New Part 4 (N4)

Is there truly "nothing new under the sun"?  We've found a design and a destiny rooted in the image of God.  That led to three key relationships of imaging God.  The first was imaging God back to God:  worship.  Glorifying God.  Loving God.  The second is imaging God to other people:  fellowship.  Edifying people.  Loving people.  Part 4 explores fellowship as an essential foundation of the Christian life.

New Part 3 (N3)

We're challenging the Ecclesiastes, who claimed "there's nothing new."  There is something amazingly new!  We've learned about design.  We've learned about destiny.  And filling in those bookends as the image of God are worship, fellowship, and stewardship.  Today in part 3 of this "New" series we learn the heart of worship.

New Part 2 (N2)

In part 1 we took up the challenge of the Ecclesiastes and his pessimism.  We discovered that Jesus truly does bring a great deal that is new.  Indeed, He is making all things new!  We began with design.  Now in this part 2 we turn to destiny.  The second of the bookends.  In this episode we learn about that destiny of what will be new.  And that sets up the episodes to come as we learn what the story will look like between the bookends of creation and new creation - the bookends of design and destiny.

New Part 1 (N1)

The Ecclesiastes challenges his audience with this:  "there is nothing new."  Jesus begs to differ and proclaims good news.  So who is right?  And what does "newness" have to do with the image of God, with worship, with fellowship, and with stewardship?  A NEW podcast series has begun!

Peace and Peacemaking Part 4 (P4)

The conclusion to this journey.  As we learn to be Jesus-like peace-makers and reconcilers, the final step is forgiveness.  Not optional.  A must for Christians.  We aren't given a choice with this one.  The command (and the warning) are clear:  we MUST forgive.
