Church History 10 (CH10)

From the First Great Awakening to the Second one.  From the 1700s to the 1800s.  Christianity goes truly global.  A complex and diverse picture emerges.  New religious movements arise as well.  The 19th century witnesses massive change.  Church history continues!

The reformation continues.  More new movements and groups.  The reformation spreads to England.  The Roman Church pushes back strongly at the Council of Trent.  Orthodox Christianity waits in the wings.  The volatile era of the 1500s and 1600s continues.

The fuse was lit.  Europe was a powder key ready to explode.  Reformation!  Massive changes were coming to the church - stirrings in the 1300s and 1400s became full blown movements in the 1500s.  In this episode we learn of some of the key leaders and key ideas the spurred the early reformation of the Roman church.
